Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah in a press conference in Islamabad confirmed that ex-DG Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt Gen (retd) Faiz Hameed is facing investigation.
During the presser, he was asked about Maryam Nawaz Sharif‘s demand for court martial of of the former spymaster.
He said that the court martial can only be done by the General Headquarters (GHQ) and not any civilian institution.
Responding to a question about the assets of General (retd) Faiz Hameed and his brother, Rana Sanaullah said that an inquiry is being conducted.
However, the interior minister said that it would be too soon to talk about that.
