Junaid Safdar, son of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML N) Vice President, Maryam Nawaz, has announced his divorce.

Recently, rumours of Junaid’s divorce started doing the rounds on social media.

According to sources, Maryam’s Nawaz son has been divorced for few months now.

However, he just took to his Instagram account to confirm the rumours. In an Instagram post, Junaid Safdar said that the news regarding his divorce is true.

He requested the media to respect his privacy as its totally a private matter. He hoped that they find their peace with this decision.

Safdar concluded by stating that he will not speak on this matter any further and wished his ex-wife well.

It should be noted that Junaid Safdar and Ayesha Saif tied the knot in late 2021. The wedding was the talk of the town as the festivities continued for several days.

Ayesha comes from quite an impressive background. Her father is Saif ur Rehman Khan, who used to lead the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and is a wealthy businessman with interests in Pakistan, Qatar, and the Middle East.

Ayesha grew up in Qatar, attended British schools there, and excelled in her O and A levels.

She then pursued her higher education in London at the prestigious University College London (UCL) and earned a degree in Civil Engineering.

Ayesha didn’t stop there; she went on to become a Director at Redco International, a major industrial and contracting group that has been active in Qatar since 1981, boasting a workforce of 20,000 employees and engineers.
