Ogra’s summary to increase the prices of petroleum product will be sent to the finance ministry tomorrow.
The price of petrol is likely to be increased by Rs.15. OGRA’s work on pricing of petroleum products is in its final stages.
According to the working, the price of petrol is likely to increase by Rs.15 and diesel by Rs.18 per liter.
Ogra has prepared two proposals related to prices of petroleum products.
The Prices can be maintained by reducing the levy tax on petroleum products or, it can be increased by increasing the levy tax up to Rs 10 per litre.
OGRA will send the summary of petroleum product prices to the finance ministry tomorrow.
The Ministry of Finance will consider the proposals regarding the prices of petroleum products.
The new prices are expected to be announced on July 31 after consultation with the Prime Minister.
