Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expanded the government’s loan scheme to help Pakistanis seeking employment opportunities abroad.

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has outlined that loans of up to Rs 1 million will be available for people between the ages of 21 and 45 who are planning to work overseas.
The loans will cover expenses for training, visa processing, and travel costs, with a repayment period of five years at an interest rate of KIBOR plus 3%.
This initiative comes as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to improve employment prospects for Pakistan’s youth, particularly those seeking international job opportunities.
By expanding the loan scheme, the government aims to equip the workforce with the resources needed to explore better career prospects abroad.
