Kia Motors Pakistan has confirmed that it will unveil a new car in Pakistan on September 18, 2026, at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2026 in Lahore.
The automaker teased the upcoming vehicle through a Facebook poster showing a car driving through a modern architectural setting. The poster carries the message, “The next standard won’t follow the old one,” and confirms the September 18 unveiling date.
Kia also shared a caption alongside the teaser, saying, “A new kind of presence is about to take the road. Unveiling 18.09.2026 at PAPS 2026.”
The company has not disclosed the name or specifications of the upcoming vehicle. However, the teaser has fueled speculation that Kia could introduce the updated Stonic in Pakistan.
The speculation comes shortly after Kia discontinued the Stonic in the Pakistani market. Reports about a possible replacement or updated version of the crossover had emerged following its discontinuation, making the upcoming unveiling particularly significant for local buyers.
Kia has yet to confirm whether the teased vehicle is the Stonic, so the model’s identity will remain unclear until the company officially unveils it.
The latest Stonic represents an updated version of the existing first-generation model, rather than a confirmed second-generation model. Therefore, it would be premature to call Kia’s upcoming vehicle a second-generation Stonic.
The Pakistan Auto Show 2026 will run from September 18 to 20 at the Expo Centre in Lahore, with Kia scheduled to reveal its new vehicle on the opening day.
