Renowned fashion designer and the founder of Elan Khadija Shah has been in the news headlines for the last few days over her involvement in the attack on Corps Commander Lahore’s residence.
The law enforcement agencies have launched a massive crackdown against those who are involved in the attacks on the military installations.
Hundreds of PTI workers have been arrested so far. However, some of them are successfully evading arrest, including Elan founder Khadija Shah.
Recently, the renowned designer in an audio message announced that she will be surrendering herself to the police. However, she is yet to present herself in front of the police.
Now, according to a report published in a local media outlet, some very influential people are trying to get her some relief.
Despite their best efforts, they haven’t been successful in getting relief for the founder of Elan.
In a recent raid by the police, she managed to evade arrest after fleeing the apartment where she had been hiding from the law enforcement agencies.

Interestingly, the apartment in Gulberg where she was hiding belongs to the daughter of Jehangir Tareen, Mehar Tareen, and her husband, Umar Sheikh.
According to the report, special assistant to the prime minister, Awn Chaudhry, also tried intervene with the police on her behalf but it couldn’t get her any relief.
Furthermore, Chaudhry Shujaat Husain also tried to get some relief for the Elan founder Khadija Shah.
However, he quickly found out that Pakistan Army has adopted the policy to treat all suspects equally, no matter how influential they are.
Khadija’s father in law, Sirmed Amin, who is an old friend of PM Shehbaz Sharif met him multiple times. He held a recent meeting with him on Monday.
However, PM Shehbaz couldn’t provide his daughter in law any relief either as he could only instruct the police to handle the matter in accordance with the law.
As per sources, army chief General Asim Munir has made it clear that no offenders will escape punishment.
Furthermore, Lt. Gen. Salman Ghani who was corps commander Lahore on May 9, is also facing investigation.
He is being investigated for for letting the protesters enter his house and carry out vandalism. It has also been learnt his wife is the first cousin of Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial.
