Retired Lieutenant General Muhammad Akram has responded and denied the claims about owning a leopard that was captured from Islamabad few days ago.
As per media reports, the claims on social media linking the leopard to Lt Gen Akram were not true.
Furthermore, the claim that the former military man owns basement with a leopard cage in his house in DHA Islamabad are reportedly false.
In addition, it was also being reported on social media that he owns two more cheetahs.
However, investigation revealed that there is no truth to these social media speculations.
The escaped pet leopard was the topic of hot discussion on social media after videos of the exotic animal running around the streets and injuring people went viral.
Some social media users claimed that retired General Akram is the owner of the leopard.
However, he has denied these accusations. He stated that the accusations are just a baseless propaganda.
Gen Akram added that there is no evidence linking him to the ownership of the escaped leopard.
