Senior anchorperson Arshad Sharif was reportedly shot dead in Kenya, as per multiple media reports.
Earlier, it had been reported that he lost his life in an accident, however, his wife has now confirmed that he was shot.
At the moment, there is no more information about the murder of Arshad Sharif.
The senior anchorperson was killed in Nairobi, Kenya. The local police are investigating the murder.
Earlier, Sharif had flown to London from Dubai.
Family sources had confirmed the death of Arshad Sharif but details were unknown. Now, his wife has confirmed that he was shot.
In a tweet, Javeria Siddique said: “I lost friend, husband and my favourite journalist @arsched today.”
She requested everyone to respect their privacy and refrain from sharing the family pictures and his last photos from the hospital.

There are some reports that a sniper was used to kill the former ARY’s journalist. However, nothing can be confirmed at the moment.
An old interview of former Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari has also gone viral on social media regarding Arshad Sharif.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader had claimed that money had been paid to kill the senior journalist, which is why he ran away abroad.
