Jack Ma, co-founder of Chinese tech giant Alibaba, has arrived in Pakistan in a surprising visit.
Interestingly, nobody was aware of his visit to Pakistan or the purpose of it.
Former Minister of State and Chairman Board of Investment and Founder Nutshell Group, Azfar Ahsan, broke the news the Chinese billionaire’s visit to Pakistan on his Twitter.
According to Ahsan, Jack Ma is being accompanied by a total of seven individuals, five Chinese, one American and one Danish national.
He further revealed that this visit is a private one and not even the Chinese officials in Pakistan were aware of it.
A picture of Jack Ma enjoying the hospitality of his friend in Lahore, Pakistan was also shared by Azfar Ahsan.
At this moment, it is still unclear whether Ma will be meeting with top Pakistani government officials or not.
However, his presence in Pakistan is indeed a welcoming news for the business community in the country.
