An embassy representative confirmed that the visa processing fee remains $69 per applicant. Except for employment visas, all other categories, including tourist, visit, and family visas, must be applied for online.

After submission, applicants will receive an appointment notification for their visit to the embassy or visa center.

Required Documents for Visa Application

  • Proof of Application: A copy of the visa application form is mandatory.
  • Financial Proof: A signed and stamped six-month bank statement is required, showing a minimum balance of $5,000 or its equivalent. The statement can be from the applicant, a parent, or a sponsor.
  • Accommodation Details: Proof of stay, such as a hotel booking, rental agreement, or confirmation from a host, must be provided.
  • Return Ticket: A confirmed round-trip air ticket is necessary.
  • Identity Documents: A valid NIC or passport (minimum validity of six months) is required.
  • Fee Submission: The $69 visa fee must be deposited in an Al-Falah Bank account, and the original receipt must be shown at the visa center.

Guidelines for Minors

  • The UAE Embassy has issued specific instructions for children:
  • Under 5 years: No visit to the visa center is required. A passport-size photo with a white background must be submitted.
  • Ages 6 to 15: A visit is required, but photos will be taken at the visa center.
  • Ages 15 and above: They must complete the process like adult applicants.

Final Verification & Biometric Process

Applicants aged 5 years and above must visit the visa center for biometric verification before completing their application.

The revised guidelines aim to simplify the application process and ensure compliance with UAE visa regulations.
