The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has provided some much needed relief to the iPhone 14 users.
In a recent announcement by the telecommunication authority, it has reduced taxes on all the models of iPhone 14.
The decision was taken upon the directions of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
According to reports, registration tax of iPhones 14 series has been slashed by up to 20%. It is pertinent to mention that passport registration fee is different than the CNIC registration fee.
Passport registration fee has been reduced ranging from Rs.9,074 to Rs31,562. Meanwhile, the fee for an iPhone registration through CNIC has been slashed ranging from Rs 29,832 to Rs34,901.
iPhone 14 Passport Registration Taxes:
An iPhone 14 can now be registered for Rs125,751 after a reduction of Rs9,074. For iPhone 14 Plus, the tax has been reduced by Rs14,824 to Rs125,751.
iPhone14 Pro and iPhone14 Pro Max registrations now cost Rs127,000 and Rs127,068 after reduction of Rs22,775 and Rs31,562, respectively.
iPhone 14 CNIC Registration Taxes:
Taxes on iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus have been reduced by Rs29,832 and Rs36,157. Both the iPhone models can now be registered for Rs131,126 on a CNIC.
iPhone 14 Pro can now be registered for Rs145,801 after a reduction of Rs31,602. Similarly, the tax on iPhone14 Pro Max has been slashed by Rs34,901 to Rs152,242.
