Hardly a day goes by when Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) doesn’t make it to the news headlines for all the wrong reasons.
In such instance, passengers on an Islamabad-bound PIA flight from Karachi were forced to use mineral water in the toilets.
According to details, the administration forgot to make water arrangement in the toilets on the plane.
When they realised their mistake, the passengers were asked to use mineral water.
To make things worse, the passengers on the flight weren’t served drinks, tea and coffee.
It should be noted that top government officials, including governor Sindh and members of parliament were also among the travellers.
The frustrated passengers vented their anger on the flight attendants. Heated arguments were exchanged between the two sides.
It is pertinent to mention that the PIA is facing an extreme shortage of professional and skilled employees due to Supreme Court’s ban on new recruitments since 2018.
