Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made one change to the 15-member T20 World Cup squad.
Fakhar Zaman and Usman Qadir have swapped place.
The explosive opening batter has been added to the squad, while Usman Qadir is now a travelling reserve.
The change was made due to Qadir’s injury woes as he hasn’t recovered from a hairline fracture on his right thumb that he suffered during the 25 September T20I against England in Karachi.
Fakhar will join the national cricket team in Brisbane along with Shaheen Shah Afridi and will be available for selection in the two warm-up matches.
Here’s Pakistan squad for the T20 World Cup: Babar Azam (captain), Shadab Khan (vice-captain), Asif Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Haider Ali, Haris Rauf, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Wasim Jnr, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shan Masood.
Traveling reserves: Mohammad Haris, Shahnawaz Dahani and Usman Qadir.
