Transporters Raise Concerns
The Supreme Council of All Pakistan Transporters has called the hike “unjust and unacceptable,” arguing it adds further financial strain amid rising fuel and spare part costs.
The council highlighted that goods transporters, oil tankers, public transport, and intercity bus operators are already struggling.
The All Pakistan Transporters Association has appealed to the Prime Minister and NHA to reconsider and roll back the increased toll taxes. This latest increase follows a 30% rise in October and a 30-40% hike in May 2024.
