The caretaker health minister, Dr. Nadeem Jan, said that the MDCAT exams would be delayed for a reasonable amount of time so that the students have more time to prepare.
He said that the health ministry cares about the students and will do everything they can to help them succeed.
This announcement comes after many students complained that they did not have enough time to prepare for the exams.
The exams were originally scheduled to be held on September 10, 2023, but they will now be delayed to a later date.
The minister’s announcement was welcomed by many students, who were relieved to hear that they would have more time to study.
However, some students are still concerned about the possibility of the exams being held during the ongoing protests or floods.
The health ministry has said that they will take all necessary measures to ensure that the exams are held in a fair and transparent manner.
They have also said that they will provide transportation and other assistance to students who need it.
ANP leader Ameer Haider Khan Hoti criticized the authorities for rushing to hold the MDCAT exams, saying that the exams were usually held in October or November.
He said that the short notice would jeopardize the future of over 200,000 students.
“The final FSC practical exam is on August 28 and the MDCAT test is on September 10. This leaves the students with very little time to prepare,” Hoti said. “Their hopes and dreams are in jeopardy.”
Hoti urged the caretaker prime minister to intervene and protect the students’ futures.
He said that the exams should be postponed until the students have had a chance to properly prepare.
The aspirants echoed Hoti’s concerns. They said that they had recently appeared in their FSC exams and had not been able to start preparing for the MDCAT yet.
They also expressed concern about the possibility of the exams being held during the ongoing protests or floods.
