Peshawar Zalmi Chairman Javed Afridi has announced jobs and rewards for the heroes of the Battagram chairlift incident, Sahib Khan and his partner.
In a Twitter message, Afridi said that the courage and bravery shown by Sahib Khan and his friend in difficult situations is an example for all.
Javed Afridi said that he would be happy to help them with some job options for both the individuals and their relatives.
He also announced a surprise award for them but didn’t disclose any further details.
Earlier, Sahib Khan, who was declared a hero in the rescue operation in the Battagram chairlift incident, said in a conversation with the media he is continuing the legacy of his father and grandfather.
According to him, they also helped individuals who got stuck in the chairlift due to some reason.
Sahib Khan demanded a job from the government and said that if they cannot give a job, then provide equipment so that people’s lives can be saved,
The headmaster of the school and other students have demanded the government to build a road.
It should be noted that on August 22, the rope of the chairlift broke and as a result 8 people, including 6 school children, were trapped at a height of 900 feet.
On the way to school, two of the three ropes of the lift broke and the chairlift got stuck at a height of hundreds of feet
However, Pakistan Army, rescue personnel and local people rescued all the people after a long struggle.
