Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) marked the restoration of its flights to Paris with a digital advertisement, which quickly gained traction on social media.
The airline shared a poster on its official Facebook page, depicting a PIA aircraft flying towards the iconic Eiffel Tower, accompanied by France’s flag and the words, “We Are Coming, Paris.”

While the announcement should have been a celebratory moment, social media users criticized the design of the poster, suggesting PIA hire a new graphic designer.
Many viewed the advertisement as a missed opportunity for creative marketing, sparking humorous online commentary.
Adding to the humor, a new poster claiming to be a PIA job ad for a graphic designer started circulating online. The satirical poster listed extravagant perks such as free Paris tickets, meals five times a day, and ten years of job security.
However, it was soon revealed that the poster was a meme created by graphic designer Jafar Nisar.
Jafar shared the meme on LinkedIn, encouraging creativity in marketing.
The meme garnered unexpected attention, with Jafar receiving over 100 CVs, along with countless messages and calls.
Speaking to Urdu News, he expressed delight at how a simple meme sparked such engagement. “My aim wasn’t just to poke fun but to highlight the need for creative marketing ideas,” he stated.
Jafar believes humor can open doors to serious conversations. “This overwhelming response shows the fierce competition in the market. I hope this inspires institutions to upgrade their strategies for a brighter future,” he added.
What began as a simple advertisement for flight restoration evolved into a broader conversation about creativity and marketing, showing the unexpected impact of humor in today’s digital world.
