It should be noted that after the formation of the caretaker government, the caretaker minister of Information Technology, Telecommunication and Science and Technology, Dr. Umar Saif, had said that for economic stability, taking IT exports above $10 billion and digitisation are his priorities.
He added that in principle, our responsibilities and powers are limited and the main objective is to conduct transparent and impartial general elections.
However, during this period, it is also necessary to monitor important government affairs.
He said that among my priorities is the full implementation of the vision of Digital Pakistan and the stability of IT and telecommunication sectors. “We will take all the stakeholders along in this regard.”
