The government has introduced revised fees for machine readable passports (MRPs) and established specific charges for the issuance of lost passports.
The updated fees apply across a variety of passport types and validity periods, providing more flexibility for applicants with urgent and standard processing options.

Lost Passport Fees
New fees have also been established for reissuing lost passports, with charges varying by the number of times a passport has been reported lost. For the first loss, the fee is Rs54,000, while subsequent losses can incur fees up to Rs356,000 for a third lost passport.
