David Miller, who represented the Multan Sultans in this season’s Pakistan Super League (PSL), opened up about playing in the league.
The Protease cricketer praised the exceptional bowling skills of Pakistani players during the tournament.
Miller had a great time playing in Pakistan and lauded the quality of wickets. However, he noted that they have slightly lower bounce than other countries.
“If you can get used to the bounce, you can hit through the line and make sure your body position’s a bit lower. That’s one of the key areas,” David Miller told ESPNcricinfo.
The left-handed batter who hails from South Africa also revealed that the overseas players playing in the PSL find it challenging to play against Pakistan’s excellent spinners.
Furthermore, the hard hitting batter stated that he has watched the league over the years and was impressed with the quality of bowling.
The one thing which makes PSL better than the rest of the leagues according to Miller is its death bowling.
“That definitely makes the PSL stand out for me with the kind of death bowling that they’ve got and the pace they’ve got as a nation. It definitely does challenge you and I’m really enjoying the fact that I can be in that position to challenge my skill,” Miller said.
