The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and all commercial banks across the country will remain closed for 4 days, as per media reports.
The was confirmed by the central bank on Wednesday.
All the banks will be closed on March 23rd on the occasion of Pakistan Day.
It will also be a public holiday across the country.
March 23rd is day of national significance and it is celebrated every year.
Furthermore, all the bank will remain closed on March 24th as its Zakat deduction day.
The next two days, March 25th and 26th, banks will remain closed as per the normal schedule on Saturday and Sunday.
It’s also important to note that today is the last day of transactions with banks for the current business week.
So if you have any pressing banking matters, it’s crucial to address them before the banks close.
