Karachi’s six-year-old Muhammad Ibrahim has made history by becoming the youngest martial artist in the world to achieve an individual Guinness World Record.
Ibrahim set the record by successfully opening the caps of 45 bottles with martial arts kicks in one minute, surpassing the previous record of 40 bottle caps.
Guinness World Records approved this feat in a new category. The Pakistan Academy of Martial Arts hosted the event, inviting several martial arts masters to witness the achievement.
Muhammad Ibrahim is the son of Rashid Naseem, Pakistan’s leading martial artist with the highest number of Guinness World Records to his name. His sister also set a Guinness World Record at the age of seven, while his father and mother are already listed in the record books.
Rashid Naseem expressed pride in his family’s accomplishments, stating, “My family and I will continue to bring honor to Pakistan. So far, 16 of my students have entered the Guinness World Records.” He highlighted the challenges of pursuing these achievements without government support but remained committed to passing on his skills to his students.
Ibrahim, now the youngest record-holder globally, hopes to be recognized by the President, Prime Minister, and Governor of Sindh for his remarkable achievement.
