The U.S. Department of Justice on January 30, 2026 released more than three million pages of files related to Jeffrey Epstein, along with thousands of videos and images. The material includes emails, flight logs, photographs, investigative notes, and other records that reference numerous high profile figures.

The DOJ has stressed that mentions in the files often reflect social or professional connections and do not amount to evidence of criminal wrongdoing. Many of the individuals named have denied any involvement in Epstein’s crimes, and the department has confirmed that the records do not contain a formal client list.

Based on the frequency of references, media attention, and public interest, the following are the 10 most famous people to appear in the latest release.

Trump appears thousands of times across the files, largely through emails circulating news articles about him, 1990s flight logs, and gossip references. The documents also include an FBI compiled list of unverified sexual assault tips described internally as untrue and sensationalist. The files include no corroborating evidence of wrongdoing.

Prince Andrew is among the most frequently referenced individuals, with hundreds of mentions. The files include emails about dinners at Buckingham Palace after Epstein’s conviction, requests for private meetings, and photographs, some showing compromising situations with faces redacted. Previous allegations against him are referenced, which he has denied and later settled out of court.

Bill Gates

Gates appears in draft emails, notes from Epstein alleging extramarital encounters, photos, and records of social connections after Epstein’s conviction. Gates’ representatives have described the allegations as absolutely absurd.

Richard Branson

Branson is referenced through photographs taken at Epstein’s estate and through hundreds of mentions tied to emails, events, and social interactions.

Steve Tisch

The New York Giants co owner appears in emails showing communication with Epstein, including references to gifts such as Hermes Apple Watches. Some messages reflect regret over the association.

Howard Lutnick

The files also reference other well known figures, including Steve Bannon, Harvey Weinstein, Jay Z, Pusha T, Brett Ratner, and earlier mentions of Michael Jackson and Mick Jagger from prior releases. The Department of Justice has reiterated that inclusion in the documents does not imply criminal behavior and that redactions remain in place to protect victim identities.
