The strict Covid-19 rules might force all-rounder Muhammad Hafeez out of the squad for the upcoming T20I series against South Africa. As per a report, the all-rounder is set to feature in the upcoming T10 league.
The T10 league will commence from January 28th. On the other hand, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has advised cricketers to remain in a bio-secure bubble until February 3rd.
Hafeez will not be able to comply with the instruction as he will be returning from the T10 league on 6th of February. The report further said that Muhammad Hafeez wants to quarantine himself after his return from the T10 league.

The right handed batsman isn’t ready to give up his T10 stint. According to the report, he has no intentions of requesting PCB for his spot in the T20I team. The 40-year-old will represent the Maratha Arabians in the T10 league.
The three match T20I series between South Africa and Pakistan will begin from February 11. The second and third match will be played on 13th and 14th of February respectively.
