Business tycoon and former secretary-general of the ruling party, Jahangir Tareen, has returned to Pakistan after spending more than six month in the United Kingdom. Tareen was once one of the close aids of the Prime Minister but following the sugar inquiry report, his relationship with the PM didn’t remain the same.
Tareen landed at the Lahore airport this morning. Talking to media persons at the airport, he said that he had gone abroad for medical treatment. Responding to a question, the political heavyweight said that he doesn’t want to answer any allegations as he has never been involved in any wrongdoing.
Reports have claimed that Jahangir Tareen returned To Pakistan after the Prime Minister Imran Khan assured him of a fair trail. Moreover, Tareen also made his social media comeback after more than a month.
In a tweet, the former MNA said that all his mills will start crushing few days later to help the government overcome the sugar shortage and price hike.
